Devan, CVT

Hey! My name is Devan. I graduated from YTI with my associates degree in July 2016. I passed my veterinary technician boards in November of the same year and I have been working in small animal medicine since. During school, I started my veterinary career at a local emergency and specialty animal hospital, and had the opportunity to grow my knowledge in many aspects of veterinary medicine working with boarded doctors in areas such as emergency and critical care, specialty surgery, ophthalmology, radiology, and internal medicine. During my career, I found a passion for oncology and emergency medicine.

I grew up in Dover, PA. After getting married to my wonderful husband in 2020, we started our family and moved from Lancaster back to our hometown. I wanted more time with my two kids, Madison and Tillie, but still wanted to remain an active Certified Veterinary Technician closer to home. As a CVT with many years of emergency experience, I love working hard to encourage new ways to provide high quality patient care and client education.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my kids grow. I have a chocolate lab named Ruger and two orange cats named Mupkin and The Lorax. I also enjoy time with friends, watching Eagles football (Go Birds), watching the Phillies, reading, spending time outside, visiting breweries, painting, and going to the beaches of North Carolina.
