Hi, I'm Suzie. I lead social media development here, which means I see photos and videos of arguably too much…from surgeries and abscesses draining to the surprising things dogs manage to eat! But, more importantly, I get to witness the incredible dedication our emergency team has for each pet. Through photos, stories, and quiet moments, I aim to share our hospital’s expertise and remind pet owners of common dangers to watch for as they care for their companions.

Outside the hospital, I work as a detection dog handler with my partner across the U.S., helping tackle conservation challenges. My team includes four amazing detection dogs—Ranger, Skye, Zilly, and Nelson—and a newly integrated kitten, Toph, who’s suspiciously dog-like.
